ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Brittany Mone’t Robinson is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. Before embarking upon her journey in education, she served as a Program Instructor for The Boy & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi. She took advantage of her leadership role and used that time to build long-lasting relationships with students through mentorship.
Brittany became a Teacher’s Assistant at Gary Road Elementary where she enjoyed helping students with their educational needs. Brittany took the time to explore different careers before she allowed her passion to meet the gift of her purpose.
Continuing her journey through education, Brittany became an Inclusion Aide at Levi Fry in Texas City, Texas, special education which brought her to her next opportunity. She believes God puts us in situations when he is ready to elevate us in our purpose.
While exploring the different avenues in special education, Brittany worked with “Non-verbal Autistic and Developmental Delayed” students, teaching them life skills. After studying her students and learning the dynamics of the classroom, Brittany was inspired to write her first children’s book.
She became the voice for her students in believing that they are capable in all aspects of life. As a mother and educator, she uses her gifts and talents to ensure that her passion is measurable to her purpose and that’s what makes her empowering.
